Oprah’s go-to guy for all things interior design is now the star of his own syndicated television talk show in cooperation with the Queen of Talks Harpo Productions.

The Nate Berkus Show is a go for a launch on NBC this fall, The Hollywood Reporter said Monday. NBC Universal and Sony Television reached a deal late Friday night to bring the show to NBC stations across the nation later this year, according to the trade paper.

Nate rose to fame in 2003, when he first became a regular guest on The Oprah Show. Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, and Dr. Oz have all found success in daytime television after their appearances on Oprah.

Nate’s new gig reportedly spelled disaster for domestic goddess Martha Stewart. Reports have surfaced online that Nate’s new show bumped Martha’s departing daytime series from its slot on NBC. On Monday, The New York Post reported that a deal to bring the Oprah-endorsed interior decorator to the network, helped bring about the end of The Martha Stewart Show, which had been syndicated by NBC. Last week, The High Priestess of Homemaking announced that she is taking The Martha Stewart Show to the Hallmark Channel in Sept.
