AMDs newest ATI Radeon graphics cards, the HD 5770 and 5750, support Microsofts DirectX 11 technology, which will arrive with Windows 7 on Oct. 22. The AMD GPUs, which offer a teraflop of compute power, also support AMDs Eyefinity multiple display technology, and are aimed at lower-cost devices. The new GPUs continue AMD’s push to compete with Nvidia in the graphics processor space.
