Yesterday, Nvidia displayed the all three Tegra 250 powered tablets at an event in Mumbai. Nvidia Tegra 250 was priory seen at the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in January.

Nvidia new Tegra 250 incorporates eight independent processors that can handle 1080p HD video playback, decode as well as encode. The SoC also has 32-bit LP-DDR2 memory along with 12-megapixel camera sensor support. It has Adobe Flash 10.1 acceleration and Open GL ES 2.0 specifications that would enable you to watch HD movies or videos on websites such as YouTube.

The other Indian after Notion Ink that brigs the tablet is – EAFT, Everything At Finger Tips. The Magic Tile tablet by this company runs Android OS and supports the custom MagicTile user interface. besides Tegra 250 SoC, the Magic Tile has 500 MB RAM, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, 7-inch Capacitive Touch screen, 1.3megapixel camera, 4GB internal memory, microSD slot, optional 3G, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, HDMI out, and USB ports. Compal’s tablet has much of the similar specifications as that of MagicTile with a few differences. Compal tablet will come in 7-inch (800×480) and 10.1 (1024×600) touch screen display sizes. This tablet does not support WLAN, Bluetooth and GPS but it has 3G network support.

Tegra 250 system chip flaunts with 140 hours of music playback and 16 hours of HD video playback with a single charge, making consumption of about 1.5W.

All these tablets that would be based on Tegra 250 SoC will give tough competition to Apple’s A4 SoC equipped iPad.
