The latest version of Opera Mini for the iPhone was displayed at the Mobile World Congress 2010 around two months ago.

Now once again Opera is planning to showcase the browser at the CTIA Wireless which is scheduled on March 23. No one was permitted from Opera to capture photos or videos of browser at the MWC but at the CTIA, people would be able to see as well as show the Opera Mini running on the iPhone.

it seems that Opera is approaching towards submitting the approval application to the Apple App Store folks in the near future. Opera Mini eventually duplicates the operations of Safari for iPhone which a rigid no for any application subjected to the strict app approval rules of app store. The only possible reason Apple may approve it is due to enormous public pressure or any sort of deal with Opera.

So just wait for the CTIA Wireless and watch out what the Opera Mini brings for us.
