Wearing the wrong extensions has turned into a hairy situation for socialite-heiress Paris Hilton.

The multi-product pitchwoman has been slapped with a $35 million lawsuit from a company that manufactures a line of hair extensions promoted by P.H.

Hairtech International Inc. claims the 29-year-old socialite breached her contract to wear and promote their product when she sported the fake locks of a competitor two years ago. The filing — lodged in Los Angeles Wednesday — also claims Hilton missed a launch party for the hair extension line during the 23 days she spent behind bars in 2007 after she was caught driving twice on a suspended license while on probation for reckless driving.

Hairtech claims they lost $6.6 million on the launch party alone. Hilton is seeking $35 million in damages — 10 times what the star was reportedly paid under her contract.
