Paris Hilton is in the doghouse with People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) — again — after announcing plans to add a teacup pig to her collection of furry companions.

The overzealous crackpots with animal rights group PETA are on the warpath after catching a glimpse of Paris’ new mini-pig, Miss Piglette, who was formally introduced to us by way of Paris’ Twitter page last Friday.

According to TMZ.com, Hilton’s latest addition has angered the group, who have branded Paris “wretched example” to her young fans for treating her pets like they’re “as disposable as her friends.”

PETA says of Paris: “The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she’s paraded through her home in the past were not accessories, and pot-bellied pigs aren’t either.”
