Peter Andre has reportedly made a plea to former wife Jordan a.k.a Katie Price to end their bitter spat with the coming of New Year.

The Aussie singer, who split with the glamour girl earlier this year, was said to be desperate to avoid more court battles over custody of their two children.

“Peter would love for things to be amicable with Kate for the sake of the kids,” the Daily Star quoted a friend as saying.

“All he really wants to be able to do is sort things out between them like adults, instead of having to involve lawyers,” the friend added.

A source close to Jordan further said: “She did lash out at Peter on Twitter but regrets it now and does hope there can be peace between them.

“Regardless of her rants, she would love to start 2010 with a clean slate and make sure everything is good for the kids.”
