Cars with foreign and so-called economy, or commercial license plates that have not been re-registered, are banned from Serbia’s roads starting today.

According to a statement from the Serbian police (MUP), if identified on the road, such vehicles will be excluded from traffic with their license plates confiscated, while drivers face misdemeanor charges.
