Brit rock singer Gary Glitter, who is a convicted sex offender, made an appearance in Horseferry Road Magistrates Court in central London to get permission to go on holiday.
Glitter, 65, real name Paul Francis Gadd, had been deported to Britain from Vietnam last year after serving 29 months in jail for molesting two young girls, reports the Daily Express.
He has been banned by a court order from leaving Britain without permission.
On September 22, he was seen dressed in a pink blazer, black shirt, trilby hat and dark glasses as he left the court, where he applied for special permission to go on holiday for two weeks.
However, police have asked the court to issue an order to stop him leaving the UK
