“Security situation better in Kosovo”

Font size:

NATO South Wing Commander Admiral Mark Fitzgerald said that the transfer of authority to local police is a sign of improved security in Kosovo.

“We transfer responsibility for Gazimestan, which is a clear success for the Kosovo people and KFOR. The entire cultural heritage is a part of everyone who lives in Kosovo. The transfer of authority for protecting Gazimestan and the improved work of the Kosovo security forces are a successful story of the events in Kosovo,” he said.
