Serbia knocked out defending champions Russia last night to move into the semi-finals of the European Basketball Championships in Poland last night.

In the team’s best performance at a major championships for six years, Serbia crushed the Russians 79-68 and now await the winners of tonight’s match between Slovenia and Croatia in the semi-final.
