Just what kind of operation was Frank Ryan running out in Beverly Hills?

Shayne Lamas — former star of The Bachelor: London Calling and daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas — tells In Touch Weekly that she turned down the opportunity to have late plastic surgeon Frank Ryan carve her up like a Thanksgiving turkey after he offered to give her the same body overhaul that eventually went to reality star Heidi Montag. Montag went under the doctor’s knife for 10 major cosmetic makeovers in the same day last November.

The newlywed says she consulted Dr. Ryan last year when she decided it was time to give her bust a little boost with breast implants, but Shayne was rudely awakened after the surgeon told her that she would need a $70,000 body overhaul.

“Dr. Ryan was a family friend,” says Shayne, whose dad Lorenzo was among Dr. Ryan’s many noted patients. “I went to see him because I wanted a boob job, but he ended up telling me that I needed about $70,000 worth of work – thigh lipo, a butt lift, basically a whole body makeover – to turn me into the perfect Barbie doll. But I didn’t want to be a Barbie doll.”

Shayne initially signed up for the procedure, but cancelled her appointment with Ryan a week after Montag went public with the details of her surgery on the cover of PEOPLE Magazine. She’s glad she did. In recent weeks, a newly-single Heidi has voiced regret about the massive surgery, confessing that she’s tired of her E-cup breasts — which prevent her from even working out — and fears her new nose may fall off at any moment.

“It was absurd and I felt sick. She’s my age, and it was the same breakdown of what he wanted me to do,” Shayne says. “I was disturbed by it. I think it was very irresponsible of him to do that. I’m reluctant to say that now that he’s resting in peace, but that’s how I feel.”

Dr. Ryan died in a texting-while-driving-related car accident in the Hollywood Hills last month.
