Singapore mutual funds see inflows in Q2, reverse trend

Singapore retail investors put money in mutual funds in the second quarter of 2009 after three consecutive quarters of outflows, signalling a turnaround in business for the city-state’s fund managers.

Estimates released today by the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS) showed net inflow of $513.3 million in Singapore-registered funds in April-June after net outflow of $122 million in the preceding quarter.
