The Monetary Authority of Singapore says today it will announce preliminary third quarter GDP data and its twice-yearly monetary policy review on Oct 12.

Singapore leapt out of recession in the second quarter, though economists expect a patchy recovery. The central bank is expected to leave its accommodative monetary policy unchanged.
