Singapore’s Straits Times Index dropped 0.7% to 2,629.76 as of the 12:30 p.m. trading break. All but six of the gauge’s 30 members declined. The following shares were among the most active in the market.
Bulk carriers: The Baltic Dry Index, which measures the cost of shipping commodities, fell 0.9% in London yesterday, taking losses in the past two days to 1.9%.
