STI loses 0.2% to 2,702.45 at the break

The Straits Times index lost 0.2% to 2,702.45 as of the 12:30 p.m. trading break. Four stocks dropped for each that rose on the 30- member gauge. The following shares were among the most active in the market. 
 
Changtian Plastic & Chemical (CPC SP), a maker of adhesive tapes, declined 2.4% to 20.5 Singapore cents. The company said it will sell up to 132 million Taiwan Depository Receipts, raising 300 million yuan ($61.2 million).
