New Delhi: The total number of swine flu case rose to 18,198 today when 191 new cases of the disease were reported across the country. However no death cases were registered on the day.

Among the new cases Delhi recorded a maximum of 78 cases, while Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra recorded 20 and 19 cases respectively.

The total number of death cases across the country due to the deadly virus has been 575 so far.

According to a data provided by the health ministry, a total of 87,417 samples have been tested so far and out of that 20% cases were found effected with the virus.
