President Boris Tadić said in Belgrade on Thursday that the Serbian Army (VS) is one of the key deterrents against war conflicts.

As such, Tadić said in his address to VS and MoD representatives ahead of the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces, it is the foundation of the peace policy that Serbia insists on at the beginning of the 21st century.
