The Mars Volta has unveiled “The Malkin Jewel,” the first single from its forthcoming sixth album Noctourniquet (out March 27 on Warner Bros. Records), at the newly revamped themarsvolta.com. Fans can pre-order the new album while previewing “The Malkin Jewel,” also premiering today in the UK on Radio 1 as Zane Lowe‘s Hottest Record in the World, and other features of the new themarsvolta.com.

On February 14, iTunes pre-order for Noctourniquet will begin with every pre-order instantly receiving “The Malkin Jewel.”

Noctourniquet was performed by The Mars Volta lineup of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Juan Alderete de la Pena, Marcel Rodriguez Lopez, and Deantoni Parks.
