Tom Brady confessed in a new interview on Monday that he and his supermodel wife — catwalk maven Gisele Bundchen — still haven’t settled on a name for their newborn son nearly a week after the kid’s birth.
“You know what, I haven’t been home all week, so — we thought we had a name picked for about six months, and then, about two days before he was born she said, ‘I don’t like that name any more,’ so, it was kind of back to the drawing board — and I’ve been practicing all week and getting ready for the game,” the quarterback of the New England Patriots said in a new interview with WEEI Sports Radio Network on Monday.
Tom explained, “I tell you, we’ve got about seven or eight choices. I’ve got to be home for more than two hours to sit down so we can talk about it.”
The still-unnamed tot is the first for the newlyweds, who married last February. Tom has a two-year-old son with former girlfriend actress Bridget Moynahan.
He said that the baby’s named will “probably [be] traditional,” and when asked whether it will be Brazilian or American, he replied, “Well, I certainly want a name that I can pronounce.”
