This weekends Box office saw Tyler Perry continue to shell out hit movies!

The actor/director/producer/movie mogul has the weekend top movie, Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, which pulled in $24 million dollars. This Perry’s fifth number one movie and it’s just as good as any!

Following Perry’s I Can Do Bad was the movie 9, a computer animated post apocalyptic sci-fi thriller from Tim Burton, with a paltry $10.9 million. Third was Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, which has managed to stay in the top 3 for the four weeks it has been out and pulled in just over $6.5 million this weekend, raising it’s North American total to over $104 million, with a worldwide gross of $204 million (not bad for a budget of $70 million).

Fourth was the Sandra Bullock Bradley Cooper comedy All About Steve and fifth was The Final Destination with $5.6 million and $5.5 million respectively.

Sorority Row was a bust, opening in sixth place with just over $5 million. there goes Audrina Patridge’s acting carreer! Or maybe, if we’re lucky, Rumer Willis’s too!
