Many consumers may be concerned about the battery integrated in the iPad. Apple just announced the terms of the deal for the iPad and joked that it resembles the iPhone’s battery replacement service, but bigger.

The device is available with warranties that are able to provide support which depends on the product lines, but still the owners of the device are offered with a free battery replacement in case the capacities drop below 50 percent during the first year of ownership. But it should be mentioned that the battery replacement service can be offered only to the owners of affected products.

According to the company, due to an accident, liquid contact, unauthorized service, disassembly, or unauthorized modifications, you have the right to turn to the company’s battery replacement service. As a result you will be put on the list for a refurbished iPad.

When the company gets a device in order to replace the battery, it puts the product into a “to be fixed” bin. When the device is fixed, it will be sent to the waiting line. There is no need to pay for a refurbished unit per se.
