Members of the Zemun assembly have elected a new municipal president, vice-president and members of the municipal council.

The ruling coalition—made up of the Serb Progressive Party (SNS), the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS)—elected Branislav Prostran (SNS), a graduate in management and private businessman, to the office of municipal president. He was formerly Zemun municipal manager.
