Eratat Lifestyle posts 108% rise in 2Q net profit to $8.5m

Mainboard-listed Eratat Lifestyle, the China-based casual fashion footwear and apparel, today says net profit surged by 108.0% to RMB44.1 million ($8.5 million) for its second quarter (2Q2010) ended on 30 September 2010 and climbed 25.8% to RMB71.2 million in the half year ended on 30 September 2010 (1H2010).

Group revenue for 2Q2010 increased by 20.3% to RMB275.2 million mainly due to the increase in sales contribution by higher margin apparel, as well as increase in ex-factory average selling prices (ASP), following the repositioning of Eratat as a mass appeal and casual lifestyle wear brand.

Gorillaz to be Joined by Lou Reed & Mos Def at 10/8 MSG Concert

Gorillaz have confirmed
that Lou Reed and Mos Def will join them for one night
only performances at the October 8 stop of the “Escape To Plastic Beach” tour at New York’s Madison Square
Garden.

On October 7, the day before Gorillaz’ Madison Square Garden debut, the band will make its first ever visit to the
Late Show with David Letterman.

The two additional special guests at the Garden date will appear along with De La Soul, Little Dragon, Bobby Womack and other touring guests
of the Gorillaz Plastic Beach band which features Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of the Clash.
Those attending the once in a lifetime Madison Square Garden extravaganza can expect Reed to take center stage
on “Some Kind Of Nature” and Mos Def to man the mic for “Sweepstakes.”

Mos Def will also perform with Gorillaz at the tour’s October 10 stop at Camden NJ’s Susquehanna Bank Center and
at the October 11 date at the Patriot Center in Washington DC.

N.E.R.D. has been confirmed as
support for the North American dates, joining the tour at Boston’s Agganis Arena
and performing on all North American dates except the Montreal opener.

CapitaMalls to offer shares at 1.08 ringgit each to individuals

CapitaMalls Malaysia Trust plans to offer shares for its Malaysian initial public offering at 1.08 ringgit (46 cents) each to individual investors, according to a prospectus published on Malaysian newspapers today. Individual investors will get a refund if the final IPO price for institutional investors is lower than the retail one, according to the sales document. CapitaMalls will offer a total of 786.5 million shares, it said.

Tat Hong rated “outperform” with $1.08 price target, says CLSA

CLSA has initiated Tat Hong Holdings (T03.SG) at “outperform”, setting $1.08 as its target price.

The broker says the crane company’s shares are attractively valued while execution of improving return on equity on back of shift from equipment sales to equipment rental should drive re-rating.

Chasen Holdings posts 108% rise in 3Q net profit to $0.2m

Chasen Holdings says net profit for the third-quarter (Q3 FY2010) rose 108% to $0.2 million compared from $0.08 million for the corresponding period last year.

Chasen is an investment holding company with subsidiaries providing specialist relocation solutions, facilities for packing and warehousing of machinery and equipment and other third party logistics services, technical and engineering services for the region’s manufacturing, marine and construction industries.
