OCBC ups Rotary Engineering fair value to $1.22

OCBC keeps Rotary Engineering (R07.SG) at Buy, raises fair value estimate to $1.22 from $1.16 following revisions to earnings projections after firm wins US$250 million ($325.4 million) contract to build petroleum storage facility in Middle East.

Says work expected to commence 1Q11, completion slated for 4Q12, thereby boosting group’s FY11-FY12 revenue, earnings. “This latest order represents one of the group’s larger contracts and we expect it to boost Rotary’s presence in the Middle East.”

Ziwo records 12.2% rise in 2Q net profit to $6.5m

Mainboard-listed Ziwo Holdings, the China-based raw material producer, today reported a 12.2% year-on-year growth in its net profit to RMB32.4 million ($6.5 million) for the second quarter ended 30 June 2010 (2Q10), boosted by its increased production capacity and the continued strong demand for its products.

The increase came on the back of a 39.7% increase in revenue to RMB135.7 million, as sales volume for the same period rose 21.6% to 9,794 metric tonnes in 2Q10.

Osim started at Buy by OCBC with $1.22 target

OCBC says massage-chair maker set for increased growth in 2010 after returning to profitability last year. Expects improving economic conditions, Osim’s constant renewal of products to meet changing consumer needs to drive growth.

PEC started at Outperform by CIMB with $1.22 target

CIMB has started PEC (IX2.SG) at Outperform with $1.22 target price, based on 8.5X FY11 core P/E, says Dow Jones.

CIMB says provider of engineering, procurement, construction services to energy, drug industries first among Singapore peers to venture into Europe via EUR118 million ($201 million) contract to build tank terminal for Rotterdam-based Vitol, bringing value of orders secured so far this year to $455 million.

Hosted by George Clooney, Wyclef Jean and Anderson Cooper, the event will feature performances by Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Dave Matthews, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Shakira, U2, Coldplay, Taylor Swift and many more.

The concert starts tonight at 8 p.m. ET on www.youtube.com/hopeforhaitinow, and it will be available to a global audience.
