CNA Group wins contracts worth $18m in Vietnam

CNA Group, the enabler of intelligent buildings and facilities, says the group has secured $18 million worth of new contracts in Vietnam all of which are expected to contribute to FY2010 performance.

Among these new projects is a fast-track Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contract for Danang International Airport  in Central Vietnam.

CNA secured the 12-month airport MEP system contract jointly with its partners in the Vietnamese construction industry, Vietnam Construction Investment and Trading J.S Corporation (Constrexim Holdings) and Industrial Investment and Construction J.S Company (ICIC).

Boardroom Ltd. to sell stake in Australian share registry business for $18m

Boardroom Limited, the provider of professional business services, has entered into an agreement to sell its stake in Newreg Pty Ltd for A$14.4 million ($18 million). The agreement was entered into with Link Market Services Limited, an Australia-based share registry and financial services provider.

Newreg, which is 33.3%-owned by Boardroom, offers specialist services in IPO processing, share registry management, as well as processing and logistical support for corporate actions in Australia.

SBI Offshore posts 68% rise in 1H profit to $1.8m

Catalist-traded SBI Offshore, the engineering specialist in the marine and offshore industry, says profit rose by about 67.7%, from about US$0.8 million ($1.1 million) for the first six months ended 30 June 2008 (1H2008) to about US$1.3 million for the first six months ended 30 June 2009 (1H2009), generated by strong sales orders and higher commission revenue, which lifted the group’s revenue by about 68.7%, from about US$3.5 million in 1H2008 to about US$6 million in 1H2009.
