The 2009 American Music Awards pulled in its largest audience since 2002, early viewing figures show.
The ceremony, which featured stage falls and stimulated fellation from artists like Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, Whitney Houston, and Adam Lambert, averaged 14.2million between 8pm and 11pm on ABC Sunday night.
