Kings of Leon Add 3 U.S. Dates

TICKETS ON SALE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12 AT 10 AM LOCAL TIME

Kings of Leon announced
that they’ll be adding three dates in America leading into their headline slot of this year’s Coachella Festival. Band of Horses will be opening in Tulsa
and Memphis.

4/8 Tulsa, OK BOK Center
4/9 Memphis, TN FED Ex Forum
4/12 Austin, TX Frank Erwin Center

All dates will go on-sale Saturday, February 12 at 10am, local time.

The news comes off the announcement that the band’s tour in Australia and South Africa, which was postponed due
to surgery on drummer Nathan Followill‘s torn right labrum and bicep, has been officially moved to
October/November 2011.

All other Kings of Leon dates, including a headline slot at the 2011 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April
15, and European dates this upcoming May, June and July will not be affected.

IMF expects Serbia’s GDP to grow 3%

Serbia will record an economic growth of three percent in 2011, according to the latest forecasts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Last year, the GDP growth was at 1.5 percent.

“Growth in 2011 to reach 3 percent”

Serbia is expected to achieve around three percent of GDP growth in 2011 on the basis of local demand recovery, primarily in the area of investments. This is according to Governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Dejan Šoškić, who spoke in Belgrade on Wednesday.

Hutchison plans to sell shares in China ports unit: Update 3

Li Ka-Shing’s Hutchison Whampoa, the world’s biggest container-terminal operator, will sell deep-water port holdings in Hong Kong and southern China, hubs of record global trade, in what may be Singapore’s largest-ever initial public offering.

The company will retain a stake of about 25% in the trust that will own terminals in Hong Kong and neighboring Guangdong province, port operations along the Pearl River and shipping-support businesses, it said in a statement today.

The 2011 Wanee Music Festival has
announced that it
will
expand to three include three full days of music. Set for Thursday April 14 through Saturday April 16 at the Spirit of
Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL, the festival features headliners The Allman Brothers Band, with more
artist
announcements expected soon.

Wanee’s early bird ticket special goes on sale this Friday, January 14 at 10 AM and lasts until January 18 at 5 PM.
With a cost of $165.50 (plus applicable fees), the early
bird
ticket includes three days of music, four nights of camping (Wednesday, April 13, through Saturday) and an
expanded

Singapore’s Hyflux to invest $58.3m in 3 China water projects

Singapore water firm Hyflux (HYFL.SI) said on Tuesday it has signed three concession agreements with the government of China’s Chongqing City to  develop three water projects in the city’s Hechuan Industrial  Park.

Hyflux will invest approximately US$45 million ($58.3 million) in these  three Build-Own-Transfer projects and maintain the plants over  a concession period of 30 years, the firm said in a statement  to the Singapore Exchange.

Maybank makes $1.8b bid for Kim Eng: Update 3

Malayan Banking Bhd., Malaysia’s biggest lender by assets, offered to buy Singaporean brokerage Kim Eng Holdings Ltd. in a deal valued at $1.79 billion, accelerating its expansion in Southeast Asia.

Maybank, as the Kuala Lumpur-based company is known, agreed to buy a 44.6% stake in Kim Eng from Taiwan’s Yuanta Securities Asia Financial Services and Kim Eng Chairman Ronald Anthony Ooi Thean Yat at $3.10 a share, the companies said in separate statements today. That’s a 36% premium to the stock’s average price over the past 20 days.
