SingTel said to sell $600m of 10-year bonds

Singapore Telecommunications sold $600 million of 10-year, 3.4875% bonds, according to a person familiar with the matter, reported Bloomberg.

SingTel sells $600m in 10 year bonds

Singapore Telecommunications (STEL.SI) has sold $600 million in 10-year bonds at a coupon rate of 3.4875%, according to a term sheet, increasing its planned bond sale by $100 million. 

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp (OCBC.SI), DBS (DBSM.SI) and HSBC (HSBA.L) handled the deal, the sheet seen by Reuters said.

Temasek prices $600m of bonds for funding

Temasek Holdings, Singapore’s government-owned investment company, priced $600 million of bonds that will raise money for general use.

Temasek’s US$300 million ($416 million) in 4% guaranteed notes due 2029 were priced to yield 62.25 basis points more than Singapore dollar swaps and the same amount of 4.2% guaranteed notes maturing in 2039 were priced at a 74.75 basis point spread, the company said in an e-mailed statement today. A basis point is 0.01 percentage point.
