Nera Telecommunications says the company has received purchase orders from a broadcast solutions provider for the supply of broadcast transmitters. The orders, with an aggregate value of $8.7 million, are not expected to have a significant impact on the performance of the group for the current financial year.

Boustead Singapore, the global infrastructure-related engineering services and geo-spatial technology group, announced its financial results for the third quarter ended 31 December 2009.
For 3Q FY2010 and 9M FY2010, the group said it achieved revenue of $103.6 million (-9.6% y-o-y) and $336.8 million (+3.6% y-o-y) respectively. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent were $8.7 million (-15.5% y-o-y) and $28.9 million (+13.7% y-o-y) for the respective periods.
ST Engineering today announced that its land systems arm, ST Kinetics, has been awarded a six-year contract worth $87 million to provide driver training for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
DTC will provide basic riding and driving courses for Class 2, Class 3 and Class 4 licensing requirement, and upgrading courses for the Class 4S (articulated vehicle/trailer), Class 5 (recovery vehicle-driving only) and the All-terrain Forklift Course. It will also conduct advanced and continuation courses such as MAN Truck Familiarisation Driving, MAN Truck Continuation Program, Ford Everest Familiarisation Driving, Artillery gun-towing training, Engineer special-to-type vehicle towing training.
