Romania threatens Croatia in Schengen dispute

Romania is threatening to create problems for Croatia’s EU accession bid, euobserver.com reports. This comes in a diplomatic counter-attack against delays to its own entry into the EU’s border-free Schengen zone, writes the online publication.

Tadić talks date of Serbia’s EU accession

President Boris Tadić said on Tuesday in Belgrade that Serbia would enter the European Union between 2016 and 2020. At a conference on the country’s less developed regions, he said that 2016 would be “the best possible result, a record to break all records, with respect to other countries, while 2020 would be a unremarkable result.”
