Instead of tents and a rabble of hundreds of Apple fans jockeying for position, roughly five people showed up at 9 a.m. to pick up presale tickets, vouchers that serve as a sort of lotto ticket for consumers eager to buy the machine. Best Buy staffers declined to provide details, but this store was believed to have nearly 50 iPads to sell.
