AusGroup bags $38m oil and gas fabrication services contract

AusGroup’s Australian subsidiary, AGC Industries Pty Ltd, has been awarded a contract by Woodside Energy to provide fabrication services to support the maintenance programme at Woodside’s facilities, onshore at the Burrup Peninsular and offshore on the North West Shelf.

The three-year contract is valued about A$30 million ($38 million) plus. The contract starts today for an initial term of three years with the option of extending for another three successive years.

Technics Oil and Gas bags $16m repeat order from Vietsovpetro to provide topside equipment

Technics Oil and Gas, the provider of compression systems and process modules for the offshore oil and gas sector, says it has secured another repeat EPCC contract from JV Vietsovpetro (VSP) to provide topside equipment for wellhead satellite platform named BK-9, worth about $16 million.

The platform BK-9 from the latest contract is expected to produce up to a total of 12,560 barrels of crude oil per day. Project planning will start in December with current schedules targeted for completion in November 2010.

Federal International unit bags $8.3m contract to install manifold skids on offshore platform

Federal International (2000) says its 100%-owned subsidiary Alton International (S) has won a contract of about US$6 million ($8.3 million) to install compact manifold skids on the Te Gaic Trang (TGT) Field Offshore Platform project in Vietnam.

Federal International (2000) is an engineering and procurement specialist in the energy sector.

Hyflux bags $95m contract to design, supply desalination facility in Oman

Water company Hyflux says wholly-owned subsidiary, Hydrochem (S) has secured a contract to design and supply a desalination facility for the Salalah Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP) in Oman.

The contract is the first desalination project in Oman and the first IWPP project for Hyflux.

Manufacturing Integration Technology bags $6.7m in new orders

Manufacturing Integration Technology (MIT) says the group has received orders totalling $6.7m from its semiconductor equipment and contract equipment manufacturing (CEM) customers.

Of particular importance is a significant order from a major semiconductor customer for its high-end range of die sorters used in the IC manufacturing and assembly process, says MIT.
