Deputy PM Božidar Äelić stated on Wednesday that Serbia needs a custom made restitution model characterized by modesty, particularly in its financial aspect.
“The injustice must be corrected. On the other hand, one must make sure that the indemnification for the injustice committed several decades ago will not jeopardize the future of the nation,” Äelić told the journalists in Belgrade.

EP to ratify SAA with Serbia next week
Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between the EU and Serbia will be ratified by the European Parliament next week in Brussels. Christmas marked in towns in Kosovo
The central celebration of Christmas Eve in Kosovo and Metohija was held in the St. Demetrios Church in Kosovska Mitrovica, northern Kosovo. France unreservedly supports Serbia’s endeavors for getting the status of candidate for European Union membership. This is according to Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Božidar Äelić, who was in Paris on Tuesday.
Partial solar eclipse on Tuesday
A partial solar eclipse is taking place today and is visible from Europe, northern Africa and the Middle East.
The eclipse started at 07:40 CET, and will last until 12:01 CET, the Belgrade-based Astronomical Society Ruđer Bošković said.
PM presents Serbia 2020 Strategy
Serbian PM Mirko Cvetković and his deputy Božidar Äelić presented the draft Serbia 2020 Strategy today.
The concept envisages an increase in employment, GDP, export and investments, and is intended to be the basis of a long-term strategy of the country’s development.
Opposition party “to sack high official”
The opposition Serb Progressive Party (SNS) might dismiss deputy chairman of its main board (GO) Božidar Delić over different views on the Hague Tribunal.
The SNS presidency will decide on Delić’s fate next week and chances are that he will be “relieved of his duty”, daily VeÄernje Novosti reported.

Milan JeliÄić of the RuÄ‘er BoÅ¡ković Astronomical Society says that a bolide was seen in the sky above Serbia last night.
“A bolide is a luminous meteorite which is more luminous than Venus and is accompanied by sound effects which are created as it disintegrates,†he explained.
SingTel 2Q net profit down 6.7% to $892m as Bharti weighs
Singapore Telecommunications <STEL.SI>, Southeast Asia’s largest telecommunications firm, posted a lower-than-expected quarterly profit, as acqusition costs by Indian affiliate Bharti weighed, but cheered investors by raising dividends.
SingTel, 55% owned by Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings [TEM.UL], said earnings were hit by costs from Bharti Airtel’s <BRTI.BO> acquisition of the African telecom assets of Kuwaiti group Zain <ZAIN.KW> in June and investments in multimedia services in Singapore.

Singapore Telecommunications (STEL.SI), Southeast Asia’s largest telecoms firm, reported lower-than-expected quarterly profit, partly due to the cost of acquisitions by its Indian ally.

“No Mladić bounty hunters in Serbia”
Božidar Äelić denied that there were bounty hunters in Serbia and said the state would not allow anyone else to search for the Hague fugitives in its territory. At the Monday session of the European Integration Committee of the Serbian parliament, the deputy PM said that only the Serbian army and police have the monopoly of force and that no other party is entitled to interfere with their work.
Serbia to receive questionnaire this month
EU Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fuele will visit Belgrade on November 24, when he will officially present the Serbian government with a questionnaire. It will consist of 4,000-5,000 questions, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Božidar Äelić said on Monday.
EU accession after Kosovo status resolution
Božidar Äelić says Serbia will say that Kosovo is its part when it answers EU questionnaire questions about the country’s borders, territory and population.
The deputy Serbian PM and former U.S. Ambassador in Belgrade William Montgomery both took part in a talk show on B92 TV late on Sunday, and agreed normalization of relations with PriÅ¡tina is necessary for Serbia’s EU entry.
Serbia had EU answers ready “since May”
Serbia prepared answers to most questions in the EC questionnaire in May, says Božidar Äelić. The European Commission is expected to send the questionnaire by late November.

TPG to sell up to $91m stake in Parkway Life: IFR
Private equity firm TPG (TPG.UL) is selling its 9.3% stake in Parkway Life REIT (PWLR.SI) in a deal that could raise as much as $91.1 million, IFR Asia reported on Wednesday.
TPG is offering 56.25 million shares at a guidance range of $1.56-$1.62 each, representing a discount of 6.6% to 3% to Parkway Life’s last traded price.
Goldman Sachs (GS.N) is sole bookrunner for the deal.
TPG had been expected to sell its stake in Parkway Life after Malaysian state investor Khazanah took control of Parkway (PARM.SI), which runs some of the properties owned by Parkway Life.
Khazanah trumped India’s Fortis Healthcare (FOHE.BO) in a takeover battle for Asia’s biggest listed hospital operator in a deal that could cost the state firm $3.5 billion.
Parkway Life and TPG declined comment while Goldman was not immediately available.

Serbian ministers visit Brussels
MlaÄ‘an Dinkić has asked for support from EU leaders for Serbia’s accelerated integration into the EU, and Božidar Äelić is also in Brussels. The two Serbian ministers are visiting Brussels while EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele will travel to Belgrade tomorrow.
