The future of Southeastern Europe is in the EU, the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative Council concluded in a declaration adopted at its 12th meeting held in Italy. The document adopted on Wednesday stressed the need to speed up the process through concrete steps such as visa liberalization for Albanian and Bosnian citizens.

Seven Wahhabis, one foreigner arrested
Seven people, including one foreign citizen, were arrested in a major police raiddubbed Operation Light, in the village of Gornja MaoÄa, near BrÄko, in Bosnia. “The arrested Bosnian citizens will be turned over to the judicial bodies, while the foreign citizen will be handed over to the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs,†the Prosecution of Bosnia-Herzegovina spokesman Boris GrubeÅ¡ić told Tanjug on Tuesday.
Three Serbs accused of genocide in Bosnia
The Bosnia-Herzegovina state prosecution’s war crimes department has issued indictments of genocide against three Bosnian citizens. DuÅ¡ko Jević, Mendeljev Äurić and Goran Marković, former members of the Jahorina brigade of the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry’s special police, are accused of crimes committed in several locations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Serbian wages lowest in region
The average wage in Serbia is the lowest in the region. Both Macedonia and Bosnian citizens have larger average wages than Serbs, thanks to the recent decrease in the value of the domestic currency.
Bosnian authorities ponder Glavaš investigation
The Bosnian prosecution is looking into whether Branimir Glavaš is linked to war crimes committed against Bosnian citizens, says a prosecution spokesman. “The aspect of possible war crimes again Bosnian citizens that Glavaš might be tied to is of interest to us, and we are looking into it,†said Boris Grubešić.
