Liars are releasing
Live at Shepherds Bush Empire, a new EP consisting of five live tracks from their May 27 2010
show at the renowned London venue. The iTunes exclusive EP is out September 28, 2010.

Liars will also release a new single, “Proud Evolution”, as a six track EP on October 19, 2010. The new EP features a
remix from Thom Yorke, a live
version recorded at Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, plus three exclusive new b-sides Â“Come NowÂ”, Â“Total
FrownÂ”, and Â“StrangersÂ”.

Liars make a long awaited return to Canada, playing Toronto and Montreal for the first time since 2006, and playing

Marco Benevento: Fall Tour Dates

SOUNDTRACKS, SOLO SHOWS AND TRIOS
KEYBOARD KID HAS A HAND IN IT ALL

Marco Benevento will tour the U.S. and Canada this Fall in support of his latest release, Between The Needles & Nightfall. The run begins with four nights in Canada and five nights in New England. The stretch includes a stop at the Massachusetts Museum Of Contemporary Art where Benevento will reprise his new score to the ’60s cult film House Of Usher that he debuted in August at Celebrate Brooklyn. He’ll also play two rare solo piano shows in Asbury Park and New York City. Benevento rejoins his band in November, heading to North Carolina and Virginia for three shows, including his first headline appearance in Asheville at The Grey Eagle. The tour wraps with five nights on the West Coast, returning to Doug Fir Lounge in Portland for the second time this year, as well as a Saturday night at The Independent in San Francisco.

On December 30, The Slip will top the night along with a set by Nathan Moore.

The Barr Brothers: Debut Album Northeast Barnstorm Tour

The Barr Brothers

Brad and Andrew Barr of The Slip have released a new self-produced album with a rare, unlikely line-up of instruments and textures. The Barr Brothers self-titled debut is a 10 song offering of hushed Americana and future-primitive delta blues lined with classical motifs and West African poly-rhythms. The brothers are bolstered by the harp playing of Sarah Page (Lhasa de Sela, Amon Tobin) and bass work of Miles Perkin (Lhasa de Sela, Jorane).
