Judiciary reform “will be completed”
Serbia will fully cooperate with the European Commission (EC) in the reform of its judiciary system, Justice Minister Snežana Malović said in Brussels.
She assured European Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding that Serbia’s judiciary reform will be completed in time to be included in the EC annual report on the country’s progress, which should also include the EC opinion on Serbia’s application for status of candidate for European Union membership, and which should be made public on October 12.
PM: Serbia EU candidate by end of 2011
Serbian PM Mirko Cvetković says he is convinced the country will become a candidate for EU membership by the end of this year. Cvetković, who is currently visiting Brussels, told B92 late on Monday that it was necessary to “make great effort and reach political agreement in Serbia”.

KFOR troop numbers to be halved
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said in Brussels on Monday that the number of KFOR soldiers troops in Kosovo would be halved as of March 1.
Reducing the number of soldiers from the current 10,000 to 5,000 will be completed by March 12, Rasmussen told reporters in Brussels, stressing that that would not affect the stability and security in Kosovo, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported.

embark on their first European tour in five years beginning March 18 in London at the Electric Ballroom. Tickets for
most shows go on sale on this week. Dates are still being added and more will be announced in the coming
weeks.
The band will celebrate the launch of their forthcoming album Dynamite Steps (Out in the US on
February 15 and worldwide on February 14) by performing two special shows at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles (Feb
15) and the San Francisco Amoeba Music store (Feb 17) the week of release. These will be the first ever in store
performances for the group.
The following week, The Twilight Singers will return to Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 23rd to perform their
latest single “On The Corner” The song is currently available as a free download at the Sub Pop Records website here.

EP to ratify SAA with Serbia next week
Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between the EU and Serbia will be ratified by the European Parliament next week in Brussels. Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Božidar Äelić will address the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee Monday evening to present Serbia’s plans for 2011 regarding the EU integration process.
Feith: Kosovo needs credible government
International Civilian Office (ICO) Head Pieter Feith said Friday that he expected that people under investigation would not be part of a new Kosovo government.
