Serbian air carrier ready for open skies

Telekom requests withdrawal of Kosovo bids
Serbia’s state-owned telecommunications company said it had requested a withdrawal of bids for the acquisition of two Kosovo-based companies. The Serbian government will discuss raising the price of natural gas in about ten days’ time. This is according to Minister of Energy Petar Å kundrić.

Average salary in August EUR 312
The average net salary paid in the Republic of Serbia in August amounts to RSD 33,955 (EUR 312). This is a decrease of 3.4 percent compared to July, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia stated on Friday.
Govt. adopts bill on consumer protection
The Serbian government on Thursday’s session adopted a bill on consumer protection and forwarded it to the parliament for an expedited review procedure. The new law will be in force as of January 1, 2011.

The bonus for the retired will neither jeopardize capital projects nor will it adversely affect inflation in the country, Deputy PM Jovan Krkobabić claims. “The bonus cannot instigate inflation nor affect the prices. These are minimum funds intended for spending”, he said.
Bajatović: Relation between prices and loans
Srbijagas will have to take a loan for another 200 million euros by the end of the heating season if the gas prices do not go up, said director Dušan Bajatović. Bajatović said that the issue of gas prices is not only a political and socio-economic one, but also the issue of macroeconomic stability.
