BuzzUniverse, the funky, feel good sextet from Northern New Jersey branched out from their home surroundings of the Northeast and now has their very first Midwest run of shows under their belts with a mini-run of weekend shows in Ohio, Indianapolis, Indiana and Michigan. BuzzUniverse brought their eclectic mix of funk, jazz, reggae, Latin, world beat and rock to Wilbert’s in Cleveland. Wilbert’s proved to be a very classy bar and grill located in downtown Cleveland literally in the shadows of Progressive Field, home to the Cleveland Indians.
The atmosphere this Thursday night proved to be an intimate gathering with a laid-back crowd. The locals were treated to a 90-minute set of feel good rockin’ grooves. The Buzz-U set consisted of mostly original pieces with a Los Lobos jam sandwiched in the middle.
This band knows how to rock a Latin structured piece complete with violin, saxophone, and beautiful harmonies and then switch gears to the far-out funk jam! If you haven’t seen these guys yet, do yourself a favor a check them out. You will be glad you did!

Google April 22 extended its Suggest feature for Google Maps to 10 more domains and eight additional languages, including United States, China, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. Google also made its Google Buzz layer available on Google Maps for the desktop, and added Search by voice functionality for Google Maps 4.1 on Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 phones.

Ten countries wrote a letter to Google CEO Eric Schmidt complaining about Google’s approach to releasing Web applications such as Google Buzz, which touched off a privacy furor when the company launched it in February. Barry Feldman filed his complaint April 5 in a San Jose, Calif., court, alleging that Google automatically triggered the Buzz collaboration program from his e-mail account and revealed e-mail contacts stored in his Google profile to other Gmail users.
