Serbia’s Damjan Tatić was elected Wednesday to the UN expert body monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. At a meeting of the Convention contracting states, which are 89 at present, Tatić was elected to the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities with another 11 experts, as one of 23 candidates.
