“South Stream main priorityâ€
CEO Dušan Bajatović said that Srbijagas’ priority in 2010 is to finish the feasibility study for the South Stream gas pipeline. He said that Gazprom is expected to enter the project of building the Banatski Dvor storage facility by March 31 at the latest, which will begin the second phase of construction for the underground facility.

There will not be any problems with regular gas deliveries, Srbijagas CEO Dušan Bajatović has told B92.
“Ukraine will continue to have the monopoly for gas transportation in this part of Europe until the South Stream pipeline is complete, meaning that gas deliveries to Europe, including Serbia, will depend on Ukraine’s relations with Moscow,†Bajatović said.
Srbijagas: Banatski Dvor agreement soon
The text of a founding agreement to create a joint company with Gazprom for the Banatski Dvor underground storage facility has been finalized, says Srbijagas.
Company CEO Dušan Bajatović said that the agreement for the facility would be signed in the next few days between Srbijagas, Gazprom and the Russian company’s daughter company from Austria.
“Serbia wants Nabucco pipeline tooâ€
Srbijagas CEO Dušan Bajatović says that Serbia would agree to negotiations on the Nabucco pipeline project should such an invitation arrive. “It would not be bad to link up with the Nabucco pipeline as well, even if it isn’t passing through Serbia’s territory, since gas would be arriving from the Caspian Sea and Central Asia via this pipeline,†Bajatović told daily Politika.
