On Tuesday IBM, HP, and Dell unveiled servers that are based on new Xeon 5600 microprocessors developed by Intel. It is expected that users will be enabled with better performance as well as power consumption.
The companies are offering new rack, blade and tower servers that integrate Intel’s Xeon 5600 quad-core and six-core processors.

Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs gives investors a sneak peak at the Snapdragon-powered smartbook, a cross between a smartphone and a netbook. Jacobs said the device would debut at the 2010 Computer Electronics Show (CES) in January.
