Gary Numan: North American Dates

NUMAN CURRENTLY WORKING ON FORTHCOMING ALBUM SPLINTER

To celebrate the recent re-issue and 30th anniversary of his classic album The Pleasure Principle, Gary Numan has announced he will
come to North America this fall on tour. On The Pleasure Principle 2010 Tour, the modern music icon will perform
in its entirety the album that climbed into the Top 20 on the U.S. charts 30 years ago propelled by his unforgettable
Top 10 single “Cars.” The shows will feature material spanning across Numan’s career, including tracks from his
forthcoming album Splinter which he’s currently working on in the U.K.

Numan last toured America in 2006 in support of his Jagged album and was set to appear at the Coachella
Valley
Music & Arts Festival this past April, but had to cancel due to the volcanic eruptions in Iceland blocking air traffic.

The Pleasure Principle made Gary Numan a huge international solo star upon its release in 1979. Given the
soft rock and disco-dominated music scene in America at the end of the decade, the disc pioneered electronic pop
music on a new, worldwide scale built around icy synthesizers without guitars or conventional song structures
(“Cars” doesn’t even have a chorus). The disc’s impact was crystallized in the U.S. when NUMAN performed “Cars”
and “Praying To The Aliens” an audience of 40 million people on Saturday Night Live. The music from
The Pleasure Principle gave birth to new musical movements in the States over the next decade, including
hip-hop, industrial and techno.

Donate Tent For Haiti at Coachella

TENTS FOR REFUGEES WILL BE COLLECTING TENTS & CAMPING SUPPLIES

AT COACHELLA THIS WEEKEND TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY RELIEF TO THE CURRENT HOUSING ISSUE IN HAITI

A Home in Haiti, Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, and Shimon Presents have
joined forces to help with the temporary housing issue in Haiti. They will be collecting camping supplies and
gently-used tents at both Coachella Music Festival and Stagecoach Music Festival to send to the people of
Haiti.

The recent earthquake in Haiti claimed over 200,000 lives. However, it has affected many more. Hurricane season
is less than twenty days away in Haiti and there are more than 700,000 men, women, and children displaced from
their homes with nothing but sheets and tarps to shield them from the rain.

Many people buy tents before a festival and never use them again. Now, there is a chance to help someone in need by turning them in at the end of the weekend. Festival patrons are also encouraged to bring gently-used tents from
home. Tents for Refugees will be collecting them and A Home In Haiti will ship the tents almost
immediately after the festival comes to an end.

Several festivals will be joining forces with Tents for Refugees this summer. Join us for the kickoff of this
amazing program in the Coachella Valley:

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival – April 16-18, 2010

Stagecoach Music Festival – April 23-25, 2010

HOW TO DONATE:

-Festival-goers will be able to donate tents & camping supplies at the Main Info Booth, located in the campgrounds
of both Coachella & Stagecoach Music Festivals in Indio, CA.

-To make a cash donation or to purchase a tent online that will be donated directly to the cause, please visit www.ahomeinhaiti.org.

Spin described the new music as “uncommonly, emotionally honest” while MOJO declared it “the post-punk Brit-psych masterpiece of the year… a reinvention so fully realized” in their 5 star review. MGMT will perform selections from Congratulations when they make their debut appearance on Saturday Night Live on April 24. MGMT also return to perform on The Late Show with David Letterman on May 11.

A video for the song “Flash Delirium” debuted this month giving fans a glimpse into the band’s interpretation of the confusing state of the world in modern times. Directed by Andreas Nilsson (Fever Ray, Goldfrapp) the video features a surrealistic homecoming that goes awry in tempest of destruction and confusion. “Flash Delirium” can be seen at www.whoismgmt.com.

Infected Mushroom: Tour Dates

INFECTED MUSHROOM ADD TOUR DATES

Infected Mushroom

Electronic-rock innovators Infected Mushroom have announced several high-profile performances and new tour dates for this spring as they continue to support their latest release Legend of The Black Shawarma (Perfecto).

For these dates, the band – Amit “Duvdev” Duvedevani (vocals), Erez Eisen (keyboards), Rogerio Jardim (drums) and Tom Cunningham (guitar) — promise an intense live show highlighting songs from the new album, plus material from their previous seven releases.

The psy-trance pioneers will make a momentous appearance at Awakening, a double-header bill with German electronic artist ATB February 20, at the Hollywood Palladium. The band will also head to Miami where they will perform Friday, March 26 at this year’s Ultra Music Festival.

In April, the Israel-bred, Southern California-based outfit return home for their second appearance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. On Sunday, April 18, they’ll perform in front of thousands at the popular Sahara tent. The band is also scheduled to make stops at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom, Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, and many more on the extensive tour.

On Legend Of The Black Shawarma, Infected Mushroom continue to push sonic boundaries with their psy-trance fusion of bruising, metallic rock and unstoppable dance-floor beats to a new level and sees the pair teaming with high-profile rockers. The album’s lead single “Smashing the Opponent” features scorching vocals from Jonathan Davis of Korn fame, while Jane’s Addiction frontman and alt-rock trailblazer Perry Farrell lends his inimitable pipes to the follow-up track “Killing Time.”

Infected Mushroom tour dates available here.
