EU commissioner gives PM questionnaire
EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele has given the EC questionnaire to Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković in Belgrade this Wednesday.
Providing answers to the questionnaire is one of the conditions for EU candidacy status.

Äelić: We are running new race
Deputy PM Božidar Äelić has said that the recommendations of the European Commission (EC) to Serbia have to be met by mid-2011. In an interview published by VeÄernje Novosti today, Äelić said that he would hand the Government 2011 Action Plan for the EU to European Union Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele on November 24, when Fuele is scheduled to bring the EC questionnaire.

Montenegro given EU candidate status
The European Commission has approved the granting of EU candidate country status to Montenegro, stated European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele. Fuele, at a press conference in Brussels, said that Montenegro would begin accession talks when it met the necessary political conditions set out by the Copenhagen criteria which relate to the rule of law and stable institutions.
Serbia’s EU bid depends on Hague cooperation
European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele says the EC concluded that Serbia has initiated important steps towards regional reconciliation. Opposition leader on EU, Kosovo
Serbia has no perspective if it does not become an EU member-state, opposition SNS party leader Tomislav Nikolić said.
Nikolić was in Brussels this week for an unofficial meeting with EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele.
