Apple’s Mac OS X has enjoyed unprecedented success in the marketplace over the past few years. The operating system that was once considered the also-ran is now a viable alternative to Windows. It has become such a great operating system that some of the design ideas Apple has incorporated into Mac OS X has possibly inspired features in Windows and Linux.
