Boustead wins contract to design, build and lease Hawker Pacific private jet sales and …

Boustead Singapore says it has won a contract of an undisclosed amount to design, build and lease an integrated private jet sales and maintenance, repair and overhaul facility for Hawker Pacific Asia at Seletar Aerospace Park. Expected to be completed in 1Q 2012, the facility has a gross floor area of 9,400 square metres.

Azeus secures $11.5m contract from Hong Kong government

Azeus Systems Holdings, the Hong Kong-based provider of IT consultancy services, says it has won a five-year contract worth HK$69.97 million ($11.5 million) from the Hong Kong government to provide maintenance services for 53 application systems in a major department.

Keppel +4.2%; rises further on contract win

Keppel Corp. (BN4.SG) rises further, and is up 4.2% at $12.42 vs up 3.0% at $12.28 by the midday break, after it bolsters the now-consensus bullish view over offshore & marine orders with news of another contract.

Keppel says it has secured a contract worth about US$416 million ($532 million) from Discovery Offshore to construct two harsh environment jackup rigs based on its proprietary KFELS Super A Class design.

Keppel gets jack-up rigs contract worth about $532 mln

Keppel Corp (KPLM.SI), the world’s largest oil rig builder, said on Thursday it has secured a contract worth about US$416 million ($532 million) to build two harsh environment jack-up rigs from Discovery Offshore S.A.

The jack-ups are scheduled for delivery in the first and second half of 2013, respectively.

Discovery Offshore has options to order two additional jack-up units as part of the contract, which if exercised will raise the total contract value to more than US$840 million.

R H Energy wins $10.1m contract from Inner Mongolia West Gas Corp.

Mainboard-listed R H Energy says it has been awarded with a US$7.9 million ($10.1 million) contract to provide emergency shutdown valve system to be installed along the 492 km gas pipeline from Changqing gas field to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia.

Wang Hairong, Executive Chairman and founder of the group, says, “We are very privileged to work with our customer, Inner Mongolia West Gas Corporation, on this project which is scheduled to be completed and delivered in the second half of 2011. The repeat order is another endorsement of our track record as a premier service provider in the oil and gas industry in the PRC. Including this latest award, we had been awarded a total of US$16.4 million orders by Inner Mongolia West Gas Corporation.”

Sembcorp Marine signs $233.5m contract

Singapore’s Sembcorp Marine (SCMN.SI), the world’s second largest rig builder, said on Thursday it has signed up to $182 million ($233.5 million) jack-up rig contract with a wholly-owned unit of Atwood Oceanics.

The rig is scheduled for delivery by the end of June 2013 and Sembcorp said the contract is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share of the firm for the year ending December 2011.

Bright World Precision Machinery wins $9.4m contract to supply metal stamping equipment

Mainboard-listed Bright World Precision Machinery, the provider of precision stamping equipment for the automotive, railway and white goods industries, says it has secured contracts worth RMB48 million ($9.4 million) to supply metal stamping precision equipment to China CNR for locomotive engine components. Bright World’s current order book stands at RMB280 million.

Technics wins $23.5m EPCC contract in the Middle East

Mainboard-listed Technics Oil and Gas, one of the leading full service integrators of compression systems and process modules for the global offshore oil and gas sector, today announced that it has been awarded a $23.5 million contract from a Middle East oil & gas company for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of process equipment for early production systems.

With a project duration of eight months, the group will deliver process equipment for early production systems consisting of wellhead manifolds,test separators, three phase separators, gas KO drums, flare KO drums, heater treater, scraper traps, corrugated plate separators, hydrogen sulfide removal module and flare stacks and burners.

SembMarine bags US$400m contract to build 2 jackup rigs for Noble

Sembcorp Marine’s subsidiary Jurong Shipyard has secured two turnkey contracts with a combined value of up to US$400 million ($525.2 million) to build two jackup rigs with options for another four jackup rigs from a subsidiary of Noble Corporation.

If all four of the options are exercised, the total estimated value of the six jackup rigs is expected to be in the region of US$1.2 billion.

ST Engineering unit wins contract to supply automatic fare collection system for Bangkok MRT

ST Electronics says it has been awarded a contract to supply an Automatic Fare Collection System (AFCS) for the extension of the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS) Sukhumvit Line in Bangkok, Thailand.

The contract was awarded by The Krungthep Thanakom Company Limited (KT), a Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Enterprise.

ST Electronics is the electronics arm of public-listed ST Engineering.

STX OSV up on $132m contract win

Shares of shipbuilder STX Offshore and Specialised Vessels (STX-OSV) <STXO.SI> rose as much as 4.5% on Friday after it said it secured a contract worth NOK600 million ($132 million) to design and construct an offshore subsea construction vessel.

At 9:53 a.m., STX OSV shares were up 1.8% at $1.13 on a volume of 5.1 million shares.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2012, the firm said in a statement. It did not disclose the name of its customer.

Ezra +2.4%; DMG tips positive contract newsflow

Ezra (5DN.SG) is +2.4% at $1.71, a three-week high, as it continues to recover from a nearly seven-month low of $1.63 touched earlier in December.

The offshore oil and gas support company has underperformed peers, down 8.2% since 2H10’s start, compared with the FTSE ST Oil & Gas Index’s +23.8%, partly on disappointment with its quarterly results and the company’s persistent delays in taking delivery of new vessels.

Rabobank wins Singapore appeal in Motorola contract dispute

Rabobank International won a $5.2 million award in a contract dispute with the Singapore unit of Motorola Inc., a U.S. mobile phone maker.

The Singapore Court of Appeal overturned an earlier ruling that said the bank wasn’t entitled to payments from Motorola, according to a decision released publicly today.
