Russia, NATO develop cooperation

NATO’s Military Committee has been meeting in Brussels to develop the alliance’s New Strategic Concept. This included discussion of NATO-Russia work plans.

The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) believe that there is no need for attacks, SNS leader Tomislav Nikolić says.

He told B92 that in a talk with DSS leader Vojislav Koštunica on Friday, he insisted that “there should not be conflicts among the opposition, even when there is disagreement.”

Russia, India ready for nuclear cooperation

Taiwan, Singapore to discuss economic cooperation: Update

Taiwan will formally start talks with Singapore on a trade accord early next year after signing an agreement with China in June.

Feasibility studies show an economic cooperation agreement would offer “significant mutual benefits,” the trade offices of the two sides said in a joint statement today. The statement didn’t give details of dates or where the talks will be held.

Russian-Polish rapprochement bears fruit

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his Polish counterpart Bronislaw Komorowski signed in Warsaw a declaration of cooperation in economic modernization. The two sides agreed to cooperate in the research and development of innovative and environmentally-friendly technologies and recognized that Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) will promote cooperation between Russia and the EU.

Japan, Serbia in police cooperation
