The Gaslight Anthem: Fall Headlining Tour

FALL TOUR KICKS OFF SEPTEMBER 4 IN LINCOLN, NE

The Gaslight Anthem

The Gaslight Anthem is
excited to announce the first leg of their Fall North American headline tour, supported by The Menzingers and Fake Problems. Presale tickets for the
Fall tour dates announced this week can be purchased here before general onsale commences at the
end of this week. The band’s full Fall tour kicks off September 4 in Lincoln, NE, and will continue through
September, including a headline appearance in New York City at Radio City Music Hall, before culminating with The
Gaslight Anthem’s October 9 appearance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Many more
headline shows during this run will be announced over the next few weeks.

The Gaslight Anthem are currently on tour with Tim Barry (Avail) and Chamberlain, and will be performing live on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno this
Friday, July 23. Additionally, the band also recently released a music video for the album’s title track that was
directed by Kevin Custer, director of the band’s seven-part “Making of American Slang” series that documented the
process of recording the new album. View The Gaslight anthem’s “American Slang” music video here.

American Slang was released globally the week of June 15, 2010 on SideOneDummy Records.
Produced by Ted Hutt (who produced the band’s acclaimed second album, The ’59 Sound), American
Slang
heralds a dramatic leap forward for the New Jersey-based band. Tracks such as “Bring It On,” “Orphans”
and “Stay Lucky” bristle and burn with the spirit of soul and the artistic adventurousness and confidence of a band
that has come into its own and truly found its own voice.
