Dačić: Visa liberalization “running smoothly”

Interior Minister Ivica Dačić has told B92 that no problems have been encountered in the talks with the European Commission mission on visa liberalization. A six-member European Commission mission will be meeting with Interior Ministry officials during a two-day visit to ascertain whether all the remaining conditions for visa liberalization have been met.

Dačić doesn’t rule out “preventive arrests”

IM Ivica Dačić hasn’t ruled out the possibility of preventive arrests of those who threaten Pride Parade participants and says the govt. will discuss the event. Speaking to B92, Dačić said that it would good if the parade could pass off without incident so that Serbia could show itself in a good light, particularly in light of its aspiration for EU integration.

Dačić: All visa conditions met

Interior Minister Ivica Dačić says that Serbia has fulfilled all the conditions on the road map towards visa liberalization. After addressing a regional seminar of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry on visa liberalization and regional cooperation, Dačić told reporters that reforms had been implemented at all levels in the last year and a half.

Dačić: Draft for EULEX cooperation finished
