Dan Bern has released some
dozen albums since 1997, while performing everywhere from small clubs to Carnegie Hall. He begins a national tour
on January 19, 2011 that will take him across the country and back, his longest such tour since 2007. Select dates
will include Common Rotation, the Los
Angeles-based trio of multi-instrumentalists with whom Bern has performed and recorded for the past two years.
The tour goes through April 3 in Los Angeles.
Fresh off the heels of 2010′s Live in Los Angeles, Bern will release, Live in New York for
this tour. The two live records include some of his best-loved songs, including “Jerusalem,” “God Said No,” “I’m Not
the Guy” and “Tiger Woods,” as well as a slew of brand new songs and previously live-only material. 2010 also saw
the release of Bern’s first kid’s album, Two Feet Tall. His first-ever Songbook, which has sheet music for 18
of his songs, will be available on the tour as well.

Clinton: Bosnian leaders should solve open issues
On the 15 anniversary of Dayton Accords U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called upon Bosnian leaders to solve constitutional and other important issues.
“On this anniversary we remember that peace is achieved by building consensus around areas of shared interest and compromising for the common good,†she stressed.
UN SC extends EUFOR mandate
The UN Security Council has extended the mandate of the European Union Force (EUFOR) in Bosnia for another year, it was stated in New York. EUFOR took over the peace mission from SFOR – the NATO-led stabilization forces in BiH in 2004. Their purpose was to ensure compliance of all sides with the Dayton Peace Accords.

Republic of Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik says the time is high for Bosnia-Herzegovina to become a state union of three peoples and three entities. The post 1992-95 war Bosnia has been arranged with the Dayton peace accords into the Serb republic (RS) and the Muslim-Croat Federation.

Tadić: Serbia committed to Dayton
Serbia remains committed to the Dayton agreement, Serbian President Boris Tadić stated. He stressed that Serbia would continue to protect and respect the legitimate rights of Serbs and all nations who live in the Western Balkans, as well as the sovereignity and territorial integrity of all countries in the region.
Dodik asks for inter-entity line
Prime Minister of the RS Milorad Dodik said that he asked, at the government session, that a plan should be made to mark the inter-entity line in Bosnia. “Inter-entity boundary line is stipulated in the Annex 2 of the Dayton Peace Accords, but it has never been put into effect,” Dodik said.

Deputy PM meets with RS premier
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica DaÄić met with the Republic of Srpska (RS) Prime Minister Milorad Dodik in Banja Luka on Sunday. DaÄić said after the meeting that, as side that signed the Dayton Agreement, Serbia was not only a guarantor of the Serb entity, RS, “but of the entire Bosnia-Herzegovinaâ€, and pointed out that Serbia-RS cooperation based on the Special Parallel Relations Agreement was efficient.
“SPS supports preservation of RSâ€
Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica DaÄić said in Banja Luka that his party supports the preservation of the Republic of Srpska (RS). He said that SPS, whose members participated in the creation of the Dayton Peace Accord Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1995, accepts all agreements reached between the two entities and three constitutive peoples in the country.
Tadić, Bosnian Federation president meet
Serbian President Boris Tadić met on Thursday in Belgeade with President of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina Borjana Krišto. They assessed that under the Dayton Peace Accords, agreement among all three constituent nations in Bosnia-Herzegovina is a prerequisite of any internal changes in the country.

Serbian President Boris Tadić said in Banja Luka, RS, this Tuesday that Serbia “stands behind†the Dayton agreement. The peace deal signed in Dayton, Ohio in 1995 ended the war in Bosnia and divided that country into two entities: the Serb republic, RS, and the Muslim-Croat Federation of Bosnia.
LajÄak: Sarajevo summit “no Dayton 2″
Slovak FM Miroslav LajÄak says that the planned “EU and the Balkans” conference in Sarajevo “will not be a new Dayton”. The Dayton, Ohio, talks ended the 1992-95 war in Bosnia, organizing that country into two entities.
Dodik “not negating Bosniaâ€
Republic of Srpska (RS) Prime Minister Milorad Dodik said that his party does not negate Bosnia-Herzegovina, but that it will not allow RS to be negated. He told Sarajevo daily Dnevni Avaz that Bosnia-Herzegovina is “a part of an international project called the Dayton Peace Agreement within which there is the possibility to build certain things together to turn Bosnia towards Europeâ€.
